3 Minute Balsamic Dressing

Do you want a fast and easy way to elevate your salads, dishes, and sides? This 3-Minute Balsamic Dressing is for you! Not only does it take 3 minutes to make, but it’s also extremely flavorful, balanced, tangy, yet sweet. I love adding this dressing to just about anything: salads, pasta dishes, quinoa or orzo sides with chopped up veggies, and as a dip for sliced peppers or carrots. The possibilities are endless.
I also love that you can make this dressing in one jar, and then keep it in your fridge until you finish it. It’s an easy way to spruce up anything that needs a little extra tang, and something you can always have on hand. Plus the ingredients are probably already in your fridge! It’s basically a no brainer.

How it’s Made

To make this lovely dressing, all you have to do is add all the ingredients to a jar and shake it up! So. Simple. You can leave the dressing in your fridge until you want to use it, however, the oil will start to become a bit solid, so you’ll want to plan ahead by making sure you take it out of the fridge before you’re ready to use it. You can also pop it in the microwave for about 10 seconds to loosen it all up if you’re crunched for time. Then of course, shake it until everything combines again and you’re all set.
Here’s another little hack for you: once you’re done with a condiment that was stored in a cute and functional jar, just rip off the label, wash it, and use it for dressings like these. It’s a great way to save money and have a practical jar at your finger tips.

Ways to use this Dressing:

  1. Pour it over your favorite salads

  2. Use it as a dip for sliced up peppers or carrots

  3. Drizzle it over Quinoa or Orzo dishes mixed with some roasted vegetables

  4. Mix it into pasta dishes with pesto

  5. Drizzle it over a goat cheese log and eat with crackers

3 Minute Balsamic Dressing

Time: 3 minutes | Serves: 1 cup of dressing

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup extra virgin olive oil

  • 3 tablespoons balsamic vinegar

  • 1 tablespoon regular yellow mustard

  • 1 tablespoon raw and unfiltered honey

  • 2 cloves of garlic, minced (or 3 teaspoons if you really love garlic)

  • 1/4 teaspoon sea salt

  • 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper

Directions:

  1. Add all ingredients to a glass jar with a sealable lid. Seal and shake until the dressing is combined. ENJOY!

Note: This Dressing can be refrigerated for up to 2 weeks in the same sealable container. The oil will become solid at the top of the jar when it is refrigerated, so I suggest taking it out of the fridge 10-15 minutes before use. You can also microwave it for 10 seconds to melt the oil. Always shake before using!
