Vanilla Cinnamon Banana Smoothie

This smoothie is LEGIT so amazing! I’ve been making this smoothie for my husband for years and every time he raves that’s it’s “the best smoothie in the world!” It’s slightly nutty, refreshing, and has the best cinnamon, vanilla flavors. It feels like a treat, yet it’s full of nourishing ingredients that will keep your body fueled. Do you need a quick and easy snack or treat smoothie that will keep you satisfied and refreshed? If so, this smoothie recipe is for you!

Have you ever heard of “nice cream?” Nice Cream is a frozen banana based “ice cream” substitute for people who are allergic to dairy or want something more sustaining as a dessert. It’s made by blending up frozen bananas, which you wouldn’t think is that special, but it really tastes like ice cream. This smoothie was created from a banana base which adds healthy sugars and thickens the smoothie. I then added almond butter which gives it such a wonderful nutty flavor, as well as the cinnamon and vanilla. This smoothie is nourishing for your body, yet tastes like a fun treat. If you have kids, you can even place this smoothie in popsicle molds and serve as a “banana pop” for dessert. They will love it and never know that it’s not a full fledged treat!

The options for this smoothie are endless and I hope you love it as much and I do!

How it’s Made

This smoothie takes absolutely no time at all! Quick, easy, and made in a flash from ingredients already in your fridge. What’s not to love? You’ll simply add in all the ingredients to a blender, blend, and wala! You have an amazing smoothie at your fingertips.
This smoothie contains bananas, while also incorporating almond butter for the fat, collagen powder for the protein, and flax seed for extra nutrients. Nutrition wise, this smoothie is very healthy and hits a wide range of fats, carbs, and proteins.
For this recipe, you definitely want a frozen banana. This allows the smoothie to be cool while not having to water it down with ice!
